 I love teaching theory (finding the logic and system behind music is fun)
on the other side my passion is teaching composition...

We had different ways of presenting student's works. Students have to
perform in formal concerts, informal final concert/presentation sessions as
their final exam or they may have to record their music in the UCSB's
recording studio (with great Kevin Kelly as Studio Engineer). That way, they
have a chance to familiarize themselves with different possibilities and
challenges of composers and learn a variety of skills...
